The variety was obtained by open pollination, the male parent is unknown. The plant is included in the registry of genetic resources maintained and studied by the Julius Kühn-Institut (JKI), Federal Research Centre for Cultivated Plants.
In scientific literature, the variety is used as material for SSR-fingerprinting when assessing the diversity of Rubus collections and as an object of research on stem disease resistance. Detailed morphological characteristics, including yield or fruit parameters, are absent in open publications.
