The plant is a vigorous bush, 1.5–2 m in height, with a slightly spreading crown. The canes are covered with prickles and have a waxy coating. The variety is a summer raspberry that fruits on biennial canes from mid-July to August.

The berries are oval or conical in shape, characterized by firmness and ease of detachment from the receptacle. The variety is self-fertile, possesses good winter hardiness (down to -25...-30 °C), and resistance to a number of diseases, including root rot and cane blight. The crop requires support and well-drained soils.
