Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant has perennial roots and biennial arched canes covered with thorns. Upon ripening, the berries easily detach from the receptacle, maintaining a hollow structure inside.

The variety ripens 8–10 days later than the Doolittle variety. It propagates by tip layering, which is a biological characteristic of the species Rubus occidentalis that distinguishes it from red raspberries.
