The variety is remontant and capable of fruiting twice: a small harvest in early summer on two-year-old shoots and a main abundant harvest in autumn on current-year shoots. Autumn berry ripening begins in September and continues until the first frosts.
The plant forms erect bushes 1.5–2 meters high with thorny shoots that need to be tied to a support. The berries are medium to large in size, have a dense structure, and a bright or dark red color. The fruits have a good tart taste and are not prone to shattering when overripe.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness and the ability to tolerate drought conditions. Resistance to a number of viral diseases, in particular to mosaic, has been noted. In regions with hot climates, shading of the bushes is recommended to prevent sunscald of the fruits.
