The variety is remontant ("two-timer"), fruiting on previous year's canes in July and on current year's canes from August until frosts. The plant forms vigorous upright bushes with a height of 1.5–2 m, and up to 2.5 m in protected cultivation. The canes possess high strength and resistance to lodging.
The berries have a cone shape, bright red color with a glossy sheen, and a mass of 5–7 g (up to 10–12 g with intensive care). The fruits are firm and characterized by good shelf life and transportability. The variety is characterized by high resistance to fungal and viral diseases, as well as winter hardiness of the root system down to –35 °C.
The variety is of universal use, suitable for open field and protected cultivation, as well as container growing. There is a variety "Yellow Sugana" with yellow-colored fruits.
