Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a highbush blackberry with vigorous upright canes 1.7 to 3 meters in height, which have drooping tips and require mandatory tying to a support. The stems are covered with dense, sharp, and downward-curving thorns. The leaves are dark green, corrugated, and five-lobed.

The berries are black in color, with a glossy surface, oval or short-conical shape, and weigh 3–5 g. Ripening occurs from late July to mid-September, with an extended fruiting period. The variety is undemanding to soil and is prone to producing abundant root suckers.

The plant possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to -28...-30 °C, as well as good drought tolerance and resistance to diseases such as anthracnose and rust. The fruit is for universal use, including fresh consumption and various types of processing.
