The De Răsmirești variety belongs to the category of medicinal and aromatic crops. The plant is adapted to the climatic conditions of Romania, but is sensitive to prolonged frosts at temperatures below -10°C.

Standards for the variety's seed material have been established: physical purity is at least 85%, germination is no less than 50%. The raw material for processing consists of leaves and the aerial part of the plant, which contain essential oils, tannins, and flavonoids.
