Variety description

The Heatwave Glitter variety is an interspecific hybrid of Salvia microphylla × Salvia greggii. The plant forms a dense bush approximately 70 cm tall and up to 1 meter wide. The foliage is dense and aromatic.
The mauve, lilac-pink colored flowers possess an iridescent texture. Mass flowering continues from spring to autumn. The variety is resistant to lodging, maintaining a compact bush shape without overgrowing.
The plant is adapted for cultivation in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soils. It is resistant to hot climatic conditions and frosts within the 6–10 hardiness zone range. It is used in border plantings, for creating low hedges, and for container cultivation.
