The plant is an evergreen herbaceous perennial used as an annual. It forms a dense spreading mat or trailing habit up to 30 cm in height with a bush width of 90–150 cm. Leaves are medium green, almost succulent, with a serrated edge, smaller than those of the Blue Wonder variety.
Flowers are fan-shaped, violet-blue with a yellow throat; the flowering period lasts from spring until frost. The variety possesses resistance to root rots, heat, drought, and salt spray. It begins flowering earlier and has a more compact habit compared to the parent variety.
Used for cultivation in hanging baskets, window boxes, containers, planters, as well as a groundcover or border plant.
