Variety description

The plant forms stiff vertical stems that maintain their shape throughout the season. The foliage changes color: in summer it is glaucous bluish-green, by the end of the season it acquires scarlet shades, becoming red-purple by autumn. Flowering occurs in late summer and early autumn with small brownish-beige panicles, followed by the formation of fluffy seed heads.
The variety has high resistance to lodging, drought, heat, humidity, and salt exposure. The plant is frost-hardy (USDA zones 3–9) and demonstrates resistance to Verticillium wilt. Due to its developed root system, it can be used to stabilize eroded areas, and is also suitable for container cultivation and creating landscape compositions.
