Variety description

The plant forms a narrow vertical clump 120–140 cm in height and approximately 60 cm in width. Starting in mid-summer, the foliage acquires a distinct silvery-mauve-purple hue, which persists until autumn. Flower stalks become bright purple by the end of the season; after flowering, fluffy silvery-white seed heads are formed.
Vegetation begins in early or mid-summer. The variety possesses high resistance to drought, heat, and pests, and is adapted to hardiness zones 3–9. To maintain the vertical form of the clump, full sun and moderately nutritious soil are required; an excess of moisture and fertilizers can lead to lodging of the stems.
