The variety has an early maturity period, which allows it to grow actively during the autumn-winter and early spring periods. Plant height varies from 90 to 150 cm. The crop is characterized by an upright growth habit, which prevents lodging and allows it to be used in mixed sowings with other grasses.
The plant possesses increased resistance to low temperatures and soil acidity, and is capable of growing in poor soils. When used as forage, the variety provides a crude protein content at the level of 15–16% and a total nutritional value of about 65%.
The primary purpose of the variety includes organizing early pastures for livestock, creating food plots for wild animals, and use as a cover crop. The cereal crop effectively absorbs excess nitrogen from the soil and prevents erosion.
