Variety description

The plant is an evergreen thermophilic perennial forming dense bushes. Large, broad-ovate leaves with serrated edges are covered with dense silvery-white pubescence. Flowering is rare and characterized by small yellow flowers in dense inflorescences.
The variety reaches 20–50 cm in height and width. It is noted for drought tolerance and tolerance to sea winds, though it is susceptible to root rot and fungal diseases under excess moisture. Winter hardiness is limited to USDA zones 8–11; in colder climates, it is grown as an annual or houseplant.
Used as a potted plant for patios and terraces, as well as for creating accents in flower beds and rock gardens. With excessive fertilization, the bush may lose its compact shape.
