Variety description

The plant is a perennial with a height of 30 to 50 cm. The leaves are large, oval-shaped, with wavy edges, covered in dense silvery-white pubescence, which gives them a softness and velvety texture.
The variety is drought-tolerant, capable of withstanding salty winds, and suitable for coastal areas. The plant is demanding of soil drainage, as excessive moisture is detrimental to the root system. Winter hardiness is moderate, down to -5…-10°C; in cold climates, it is grown as a container plant.
Used for edging, rock gardens, and landscaping terraces and balconies. The species originates from Patagonia.
