The sesame variety Irina, also known as Sadovo 4075, is a result of Bulgarian breeding. The main purpose of the variety is its suitability for mechanized harvesting, which is due to a morphological feature — non-shattering capsules.

Within the framework of research on this variety, impact indices during capsule destruction and detachment force were evaluated to determine suitability for mechanized threshing. More detailed plant characteristics, such as height or disease resistance, are not provided in the publications.
