The variety is intended for use as green manure. It is characterized by rapid biomass formation, which contributes to improving soil condition and suppressing weed vegetation.

The plant is annual and fast-growing. The variety is sensitive to acidic soils and winterkills upon the onset of winter temperatures. Within the originator's breeding program, the variety is classified as a crop used for nematode control.
