The variety is intended for use as green manure, contributing to soil structure improvement, accumulation of organic matter, weed suppression and protection against erosion. The variety is also suitable for the production of table mustard.

The plant possesses a fasciculate root system with a strong taproot penetrating to a depth of up to 120 cm. The variety is distinguished by rapid initial development and high drought tolerance, while being reliably winter-killing at low temperatures.

For agricultural techniques, a seeding rate of 15–20 kg/ha with a sowing depth of 1–2 cm is recommended. Optimal sowing dates are August — September; nitrogen fertilizer requirement is 40–60 kg per hectare.
