The variety was developed by the individual-family selection method from the variety Karolina. The vegetation period until the mowing maturity stage is 40–45 days, and 85–95 days until seed harvest.

The dry matter yield of green mass reaches 6.0–6.5 t/ha, and seed yield is 2.8–3.0 t/ha. The seeds are characterized by a thousand kernel weight of about 5.3 g and an oil content of 29.0%. It is recommended for cultivation in the Polissya, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe zones.
