Plants of the Pidpecheretska variety in the seed ripening phase in unfertilized plots reach a height of 97.1–98.0 cm. The variety demonstrates high field germination and survival rates.

The oil content in the seeds is approximately 24.5%, and the thousand kernel weight varies from 4.5 to 4.9 g depending on agronomic practices. The variety is used as an oilseed crop and as a green manure to improve the phytosanitary condition of the soil.
