The growing period is 95–110 days; plant height varies from 90 to 120 cm. The variety possesses high resistance to lodging and pod shattering, as well as high resistance to Phyllosticta leaf spot, powdery mildew, flea beetles, and leaf beetles.
The seeds contain 28–35% oil, about 30% protein, and 5–6% erucic acid. The thousand kernel weight is about 5.4 g. Potential yield reaches 2.7 t/ha at a standard moisture content of 10%.
The variety is versatile and is used as a green manure, an oilseed crop for oil processing, and as a honey plant. Recommended sowing dates are in the period from mid-April to mid-May.
