The Coronado variety (also known as Castlehy 1065) is an F1 hybrid. The plant belongs to the fresh market tomato type and has the morphological characteristic of lacking a joint on the pedicel.
The tomato possesses resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 1 and 2), Verticillium wilt, tobacco mosaic virus, Alternaria stem canker, gray leaf spot, and nematodes. The fruits of this variety have characteristic light green shoulders.
