The variety Marek's Pointy Heart is an heirloom from Bulgaria. The plant is of the indeterminate type, reaching a height of 1.8–2 m. The fruit ripening period is characterized as mid-season or mid-late.
The fruits are heart-shaped with a point, red in color. Their weight varies from 200 to 600 g. The fruit flesh is meaty, contains few seeds, and has a sweet taste. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, as well as for making juices and sauces.
