The variety is tall; plants reach a height of 1.8–2.0 m and require staking and pruning. The fruit ripening period is 110–130 days. The plants are adaptable and suitable for cultivation in greenhouses and protected open field; formation into 1–2 stems is recommended.

The fruits have a heart shape with pronounced ribbing at the stem and weigh from 300 to 500 g, with individual specimens reaching 1 kg. The pulp is dense, contains many solids and little liquid. Due to its qualities, the variety is primarily used in salads, sauces, and for cooking.

There are many variations of this heirloom, differing in color and details of agricultural practices. The fruits are prone to ripening from the inside out, so it is recommended to harvest them when the color begins to change to preserve the density of the structure.
