The variety is mid-season or mid-late and indeterminate, reaching a height of 1.5–1.8 m, and sometimes 2 m. Vigorous plants require side-shoot removal and mandatory staking to a support. Cultivation is recommended in protected cultivation or warm locations in the open field with the plant trained to two stems.

The fruits have a characteristic heart shape with pronounced ribbing and a weight from 160 to 500 g and more. The flesh is fleshy, sugary when broken, with a small number of seeds. The variety is demanding of stable irrigation, as failure to comply may lead to fruit cracking and the development of blossom-end rot.

Due to the fruit structure, the variety is considered a delicacy and is best suited for salads, preparing sauces, and thick juices. Given the size and characteristics of the skin, it is less suitable for whole-fruit canning.
