The variety has a determinate growth type, which limits its height. According to the results of agronomic trials, the variety is characterized as susceptible to early blight (Alternaria solani).

In comparative scientific studies, Jaklin is classified as an open-pollinated variety. When compared with modern hybrids, it is inferior to them in terms of yield indicators and maturation rate.
