The variety was developed within the framework of INRA breeding programs for adaptation to the agro-ecological conditions of the south of France and for use in the industrial sector.

In field trials, the variety demonstrated high yield of marketable fruits. One of the key characteristics is resistance to late blight and lower susceptibility to Alternaria infection. The variety was also used in scientific research as an object for evaluating resistance to tomato leaf curl virus.
