Pietra Rossa F1 is a mid-early or mid-season hybrid with a vegetation period of 110–120 days. The plant is of the determinate type, compact, with abundant foliage that protects the fruits from the sun.
The fruits are firm, dark red, have a plum shape and weigh 70–100 g. The variety is characterized by a high dry matter content, excellent transportability and the ability to remain on the bush for a long time.
The hybrid is suitable for whole-fruit canning and industrial processing, as well as for fresh market sales. It is characterized by resistance to Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt and tolerance to nematodes.
