The variety is early-maturing, with the period from emergence to the beginning of fruit ripening lasting 98–105 days. The determinate plant reaches a height of 50–60 cm to 90 cm. The plant is characterized by vigorous development, heavy foliage, and requires mandatory pruning and staking.
The fruits are flat-round, slightly ribbed, and intensely red in color. Fruit weight varies from 90 to 200 g. The fruits are firm and fleshy in texture. Marketable yield is approximately 4.7 kg/sq. m. The variety possesses high drought tolerance.
Fruits of the Polius variety are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and the preparation of juices and tomato pastes.
