Variety description

The variety is mid-early, the period from planting to fruit ripening is about 75–80 days. The plant is of the indeterminate type, tall, reaches a height of up to 2.5 meters and requires training into 1–2 stems, as well as mandatory staking.

The fruits are elongated-oval in shape, 8–12 cm long, and have a mass of 100–150 grams. The flesh is dense and meaty, with a small amount of seeds and juice; the taste is characterized as fruit-sweet. The variety is suitable for cultivation in open field, greenhouses and containers, possesses heat tolerance and is non-hybrid.

The variety is genetically the result of crossing «Antique Roman» and «Banana Legs». In various sources, it is also found under the names Striped Roman, Speckled Roman, Stripy Long and Romaine Striee.
