Rosso Delta tomato is a hybrid variety (H). In scientific literature, it is noted as a plant possessing resistance to Fusarium wilt caused by the pathogen Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. lycopersici (races 1 and 2), as well as to tomato mosaic virus (ToMV, race 0).

The variety is used as a model in research on the genetic resistance of tomatoes to the specified diseases. Data on the maturity group, growth type, morphological characteristics of the fruits, and cultivation recommendations are absent in available sources.
