The variety is used exclusively as a breeding tool and rootstock for vegetable crops. It is not grown as an independent plant for marketable fruit production, therefore standard morphological characteristics of the fruit and maturity periods are not defined for it.

In experimental studies, the effect of this rootstock on scion development is evaluated through parameters of vigor and adaptation to soil conditions. The effectiveness of using Tresor directly depends on the specific combination of grafted components and growing conditions.
