The variety forms spherical fruits of deep purple color. The plant is characterized by intense flowering, producing a large number of basal and additional flowers, which distinguishes it from other local varieties.
In scientific activities, this variety is used as an important genetic resource. It is used to create lines with cytoplasmic male sterility, to study interspecific hybrids, and in experiments on the selection of rootstocks to increase resistance to diseases, in particular to Verticillium wilt.
