The plant is vigorous, reaching a height of 80–100 cm and having an upright growth habit. The period from transplanting to harvest is 65–80 days. The fruits have a cylindrical club-shaped form, dark purple glossy color, a length of 20–22 cm, and a weight from 250 to 450 g.

The variety possesses tolerance to bacterial wilt, Fusarium wilt, anthracnose, Phomopsis, tobacco mosaic virus, and cucumber mosaic virus. It is suitable for professional production in tropical zone countries, where it is often used in breeding programs as a standard for resistance.
