Solanum tuberosum L. Potato · Agricultural · bred by Justus Böhm

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is classified as very early and is characterized by rapid development in the initial period, ensuring a high yield of uniform-sized tubers. Culinary type "B" makes the potato slightly floury and versatile for cooking.

The tubers are oval-shaped with smooth yellow skin and shallow eyes; the flesh is yellow. The variety has good storage characteristics due to a pronounced dormancy period.

The plant is resistant to potato wart (race 1) and golden potato nematode (Ro1, Ro4), and also shows resistance to late blight of haulm and tubers. Medium and better-quality soils are preferred for cultivation, while it is recommended to avoid plots prone to scab and rust spot.
