At the time of its inclusion in the register, the variety received the following scores on a 9-point resistance scale: late blight of the foliage — 6 points, gangrene — 6 points, blackleg — 5 points, common scab — 5 points, bacterial soft rot — 4 points, dry rot — 4 points, and resistance to potato cyst nematode — 4 points.
In the period from 1983 to 2002, the Dryf variety was included in scientific research aimed at studying the susceptibility of tubers to mechanical damage.
