The variety was used by researchers as a parental form in crossbreeding, in particular, in studies on late blight resistance using molecular markers and the Rpi-rzc1 and Rpi-phu1 resistance genes.
Data on the variety appeared in COBORU documentation in 2008. The variety is absent from the current commercial catalogs of the breeding center, which indicates its status as highly specialized breeding material.
