The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Torridon and Picasso. Tubers are characterized by light yellow flesh and shallow eyes. The variety is early-maturing and is distinguished by high yield.
The plant possesses partial resistance to late blight and high resistance to common scab. Due to a short dormancy period, the eyes sprout rapidly. It is not recommended to use metribuzin-based herbicides during cultivation.
The variety is intended for the fresh produce market and organic farming. It is also exported as seed material to countries in Southern Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
