The variety was bred as a hybrid of G06TM008003 and the Blaue Schweden variety. The tubers have a short oval shape with shallow eyes. The dry matter content in the potatoes is 18–20%.
The potatoes are resistant to silver scurf, PVYntn virus, and mechanical damage, and show medium resistance to late blight and common scab. The variety does not possess resistance to golden and pale cyst nematodes and has a rather low resistance to sprouting.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption and is suitable for mashing, boiling, baking, and making French fries. After thermal processing, the flesh retains its deep purple color.
