The variety was obtained by crossing the parental forms D 5/7 x D 6/4. The tubers have an oval shape, smooth yellow skin and shallow eyes; the flesh is dark yellow in color. The potato is distinguished by excellent culinary qualities, does not boil down and does not darken after peeling or cooking.
The variety has high resistance to scab, potato wart, potato nematode, fungal diseases of tubers and good keeping quality during storage. The variety is moderately resistant to late blight of roots. The tubers are resistant to mechanical damage and sprouting when maintaining a storage temperature regime of 4.0–4.5 °C.
