The variety was obtained by crossing Stayer and Athlete. The plant forms a strong bush with rapid initial sprout development and purple flowers. Tubers have a round or round-oval shape, yellow skin, and light-yellow flesh. The culinary type is floury.
The potato is distinguished by a high dry matter content (about 25.1%) and a high starch yield. The variety shows resistance to potato cyst nematode (Ro 1/4) and late blight of foliage and tubers, but is susceptible to common scab. High susceptibility to damage during mechanical harvesting is noted.
