The variety is an old farm landrace from the Mühlviertel region. Tubers have a round or round-oval irregular shape with deep-set eyes, yellow skin, and light yellow flesh. Plants have purple flowers.
The variety belongs to the medium-late maturity group and possesses good disease resistance under organic farming conditions. In terms of culinary type, it is very floury; when boiled, the flesh becomes dry and loose, making it suitable for mashed potatoes, soups, and dumplings.
