Variety description

The variety is classified as early and is characterized by a high tuberization capacity, forming 8 to 15 tubers per hill. Potential yield is about 350 c/ha. When grown on irrigated lands, the variety is capable of producing two harvests per year.

The plant is of medium height with good foliage and red-violet flowers. Tubers are round, with light red skin and shallow eyes; the flesh is white. Starch content ranges from 13.1 to 14%.

The variety has resistance to cancer and scab. The presence of a dense skin provides protection against mechanical damage and contributes to good keeping quality during storage. The variety is suitable for culinary processing, including the preparation of french fries due to the retention of the shape of the slices.
