The variety belongs to the very early maturity category, allowing it to be used both as a main crop and as a double crop in cases of late sowing dates. The plant is characterized by short stature, which simplifies the harvesting process and residue management.

The panicle is semi-open and has good exsertion from the leaf sheath. The variety demonstrates consistently high grain set and good sanitary condition at the end of the vegetation period, as well as high lodging resistance. The grain is orange in color and has a low tannin content.
