The variety is characterized by rapid initial growth during the early stages of development. The plant is short, possesses good tolerance to Fusarium and high resistance to lodging. The grain has a red color, the thousand kernel weight is about 32 grams, the endosperm texture is half vitreous and half floury.
The recommended sowing density is 280–300 thousand seeds per hectare under stress conditions and 300–320 thousand seeds per hectare under normal growing conditions.
