The variety belongs to sweet sorghum genotypes with potential for use as a raw material for biofuel production. It is characterized by a high total sugar content in the stalks exceeding 13%. Research also examined fiber and aconitic acid content, as well as the level of invert sugars.

The variety is actively used in scientific work to study the physiological characteristics of sweet sorghum. In particular, experiments were conducted to evaluate its salt stress tolerance at the stages of seed germination and seedling development.
