The Digestivo variety is classified as a sorghum variety (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench). In agronomic studies, this variety is considered in the context of examining silage qualities, while no direct data on its registration as Sudan grass has been found in the sources.

During tests conducted in the Tokat region (Turkey), the variety was studied as a crop for obtaining a second harvest. Indicators of green mass and dry matter yield, plant height, and quality parameters such as crude protein, ADF, and NDF content were evaluated. The main direction of the variety's use is silage production.
