The variety was developed by the Plant Breeding and Genetics Institute — National Center of Seed Science and Variety Testing. The crop was created through the efforts of breeding centers in Ukraine and Moldova.

During environmental variety trials under rice irrigation system conditions, this variety was noted as one of the best-adapted and highest-yielding soriz varieties.
