The variety belongs to the early-maturing group of grain sorghum. Under the conditions of the Lower Volga region, grain yield varies from 5.27 to 5.84 t/ha. The variety is distinguished by a high thousand kernel weight, and the protein content ranges from 12.10 to 12.56%.

The crop is used as grain fodder; the possibility of its application in the food industry for the production of groats is also being considered. The variety is associated with breeding activities in the Lower Volga region based at the FSBSI RossNIISK "Rossorgo".
