The plant is a herbaceous perennial with narrow sword-shaped leaves gathered at the base. The star-shaped flowers have six petals. The height of the flower stalks is 20–35 cm.

The variety belongs to spring-summer bulbous crops. The plant is thermophilic, preferring sunny areas with good drainage. In climates with cold winters, it requires digging up, as its winter hardiness is limited to zones 9–10.

The variety is suitable for cultivation in open ground, container culture, and for use in cut flowers. The plant is suitable for creating flower beds and borders.
