The variety is a first-generation hybrid. It possesses a relatively high growth rate and is intended for the production of leaf products in the spring and autumn seasons, with cultivation permitted both in open field and in greenhouses.

The plant possesses resistance to downy mildew (Peronospora effusa), including races 1–5 and 7, as well as to pathogens causing Stemphylium leaf spot.
